i know its a daft question but has anyone got a basic indoor setup for a cobra, and has anyone got any pics of cobras that have been modified to make them better.
plus is there another shell that might fit as the std shell is awful and doesnt fit to well.

read the website, and you will discover that A LOT of work needs to be put into the Cobra to make it competitive, but it is not impossible. I would have thought the first thing you need to change are those mardave shock absorbers... |

I'd agree with burgie, ditch the Mardave shocks. I used Kyosho Option House gold shocks indoors and Traxxas TRX-1 items outdoors. Also, change/modify the slipper so it actually works and protects the gearbox or with modern power you'll be changing idler gears more often than motor brushes. Other than that I ran mine standard and did rather well with it as long as there weren't too many bumps and jumps - will see if there are any old setup sheets kicking about next time I'm in the loft.
