Default hobbywing 2.1

i have one of the above spare and was wandering if i can update it to the v3 software? It is a 120a version so if i could do this would there be much difference between this and a v3 esc?

No, you cannot update a v2.1 to a v3. It's something to do with the relationship between the chips in the speedo and the firmware code. Loads of us would have loved to do just that, but it was a no-go! The v2.1 is still a cracking bit of kit though. HTH

The software to put v2.1's into Blinky mode is V3 something or other and once you have updated to the latest software you must use the multi function LCD box as the old pro box no longer works.
Not exactly the full V3 software but as slow one says amazing ESC's anyway
