Default ASSOCIATED DRIVERS (CRAGG, etc) - B4 - NEW CAR EVERY RACE?

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to ask if the major drivers like Neil Cragg etc have a brand new car every time they race or go to a race meeting?

I just bought a brand new B4 and the difference in performance was staggering over a B4 i used for a season already, even with just the kit settings as per the manual.

Thanks, Tom

No but they will be in pretty good condition and certain parts will be replaced such as T plates / shock O rings and springs.

I know some top drivers who prefer a "run in" car, personal preference i think

You might of just noticed the difference because your set-up might not be identical

Ive always ran the same setup, even on the new buggy. I've just built the buggies according to the manual and ran the standard setup, which seems nice on the carpet circuit i race on.

But I think that the biggest problem was the rear shocks being very worn out. They were from the bad batch of shocks with the poor anodising. Every time i would replace the shock oil, the oil would turn metallic grey. Maybe with new shocks, it may help even out the handling between the two cars. The car would get very bouncy in the back end, and the oil would need to be replaced nearly every 2 heats of a meeting. It was terrible.

No they dont have a new car every meeting. Bradders car he has been using was the 24 hour endurance car maybe with a few new parts on it.
