yuo can charge them at 2c but all you do is gain in time taken to charge and lessen thier life, you gain nothing on the track.

Question for Mark, (question Mark ???)

Mark, how long are Trakpower 4900 stick packs good for??

Mine's coming up for it's second birthday (It even featured in Jimmy's 'Mother of all batteries' review a while back!!!) and hasn't really been used a great deal. It's stored charged which was best I was told (I might me wrong).

Will it still perform?? as I used to run it in my touring car but now Lipo is the norm it will go in my other cars.

Cheers

Brett

there good for as long as they keep going, they eventually loose capacity but i have one 3 years old that has some hammer and is fine.
store them about 80% charged. never flat or under 6 volts

Thanks Mark, it should be fine then. I might borrow a balancer next time I go racing just to keep it in tip top condition
