Default Problem with Speed passion

Hi

I have the speed passion LRF speedo, with a Novak 13.5 motor, on Sunday I went to line up for my final as normally, went to go and it is just did not move.

Have tried it tonight and is doing the same, the motor will run and if you let is stand still or put the brake on it will just stop, when you apply throttle it will try to move, and the only way to make it work is by turning the spur and it willl keep doing the same thing, checked all the wired, check the sensor wire.

The only thing I have noticed in the power cap is getting warm, is this normal.

Please help

James

Default motor problem

sounds definately like a motor/sensor problem. Try a differant sensor wire and if it still doesnt work it will be the sensor board on the motor and youll have to send it back to schumacher. I had a speed passion 13.5 that did this and i sent it back and got a new one. Hope you sort it !

Default Sensor problems

Some problems can be cured by carefully re-soldering the joints around the sensor board inside the motor. Only do this if you are good at soldering!

send it back to schumacher. It's probably a damaged sensor board on the motor itself
