Default Adding artwork in iTunes? How?

I bought my first ever iPod afew months ago, downloaded iTunes, copied all my current stash of mp3's into iTunes/my iPod, and have even used iTunes to copy music from CD into my library but no matter what I try, ive pressed al the Add Artwork buttons and even been to the Apple support pages I cannot get any artwork to be downloaded or added at all.

I have a valid iTunes store account, but even with that I cant figure it out.

Any technical wizards able to help??

itunes dosnt usualy find them for me either.

the only way i have found to do it that takes a little time is :-

goto view, show artwork

goto amazon etc and find the cover you need and save to your computer

play the song in itunes and drag the saved picture file in to the artwork window.

Thats it but it takes a while!

Best way is not using iTune! Windows Media Player does the hard work for you, and you can get it working with the iPod no-problem.
