XX4 rarity

Hey lads,

I'm considering building up an X5 squared for the 09 season. The thing that bothers me is getting hold of a XX4 kit, given they're rare as rocking horse poo. I had a new worlds kit middle of last year too, but sold it... do'h!

How are others dealing with this problem?

They are tricky to get new but after the 2007 saw about 50% of people at nationals running them there are a fair few around 2nd hand, many of them with little use as by that winter 50% of people seemed to have a B44.

I bought mine as a complete kit from x Factory in the USA.
They may still do that.

Sadly, all of our complete X-Factory kits are now no longer available, you do still have to "convert" a Losi, but dont forget you can convert either a XX4 OR a XXX4 and since the XXX4 was nowhere near as popular as the XX4 you can pick up some of them at real blow out prices if you look around at the moment, which is another option for anyone looking to go the route of the X5.
