Default Do 25mm Lipo's fit in ZX-5 FS?

As title really!

I'v ordered a ZX-5 FS and a 23mm high saddle lipo for it from HK -which will also fit in my Cat Sx if I need it to. Will 25mm lipo's fit in the FS ok as I could do with ordering a second pack and the larger ones are hardly any more expensive than the others.

Thanks

The short answer is yes but you will probably have to notch the top deck to clear the wires and maybe space up the cell posts a little (use the longer of the post types both front and rear).

If your buying cells I'd wait for the revised list in January to avoid buying something you then can not race with.

Oh, don't worry about them fitting in the CAT ... once you get the FS going you'll never look at another 4wd car the same way again ... trust me!

Am I right in thinking you go to the Hereford club? If so then pop over and have a chat, I'll gladly go through the car with you and explain how to get it go sweeter than a sugar coated nut

A quick word of warning ... do NOT do the diffs up tight, set them so you think they will slip slightly and then run them in on very light loads .... doing this helps seat everything properly and prevents the plates and balls getting damaged, the car like to run fairly loose diffs.

Also do a quick search on here about how I mess the crownwheel and pinion (search for post with the word "diff" in with RogerM as poster).

Any help or questions just shout!
