I think you can take that as a no! The TC02C was really replaced by the TM2 which is coming out again as the TM2V2. Would be strange to re release a mid motored car that competed against their latest incarnation and that is my thoughts on it.

The only info so far is that it will have the option of a gear diff and a longer wheelbase chassis. I'd be surprised if it doesn't switch to 14mm hew wheels as well.

I don't think the TM2 superseeded the TC02C - they are very different cars. It's like comparing the Schumacher KF and SV2.....

Official sources on the Team C forum have said that they are looking at the TC02C.... might just be a gear diff update.... to be honest, the car is so good, I would change very little.

I was thinking a gear diff, longer chassis with maybe easier adjustments to the rear toe and anti squat. Maybe a shorty lipo down the centre too.

You can have the geared diff now ( http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=143535 ) and I'm working on the anti-squat.

How much longer does the wheelbase want to be? A T-Plate in aluminium and a front wishbone support from Akula should do the trick there. I expect that someone could make the T-Plate in carbon fibre but not me. I don't like machining things that are trying to kill me!

If the TC02C will come with gear diff more stearing and more adujustement on the rear i will take it.
Because in France, we drive on astro but aren't every time with big gripp.
And some carpet have some low gripp (for a carpet).
I remeber many race with water on astro the TM2 wasn't very easy to drive and puch hard.
So i thinks the TC02C V2 will be very interesting on most easy on every condition, i will take it to drive on dirt with gripp.

Don't worry i love my TM2

Is it not possible to lengthen the wheelbase by flipping the wishbones over and re-drilling them for the shock mounting points?

Hey Clive, the problem with that is that it affects the driveshaft angle. You really want to length increase to be in the chassis.

I tried flipping the rear wishbones and moving the shocks to the front of the tower. It was good on carpet but I preferred using the tm2 rear wishbones. Take a look how long the tc02c of Oliver scholz at the reedy race was. It's a limo lol.

It would be nice to get the views of the top drivers on the tc02c. Things like how they would improve the car (if they even still use one). Drivers like Kev Lee and Alec springer etc.
