Default Hobbywing Firmware on Speed Passion ESC
Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone on here had put hobbywing firmware on a speed passion GT series esc and if it will work ok, I have been advised that it will but wanted to know if anyone has any experience of it?

Yep works fine been running a gt 2 and a lpf onbhw software for 2 years with no problems

It will work but it will lock out the esc and you won't be able to update it it to any newer HW firmware until you re flash it with a V1 Speed Passion firmware then put the newer HW firmware on.
