Hello there, been looking at the idea of starting to race again somewhere as I quit hobby a few years ago when i used to race at oxclose, nissan etc. Just wondering what the requirements are if I wanted to come along to seaham sometime.
I am also deciding whether to get a 4wd or 2wd buggy to race , the dex210 is looking like a good choice so far, what is popular amongst the club? thanks dan ![]() |

Alight Dan, you obviously have an idea about racing as you done it before, best thing to do will be to pop down the club when you can and have a talk with people,
The dex210 is a little out dated as I think a new version is due soon so if you did want a Durango it's probably best to wait for the new one. |

I would say the most manufactures cars race at the club maybe the more popular 2wds are yokomo and schumacher.
Elecs ect are maybe a mine field, like I say it's probably best to see what people are using at the club.... At least if you have problems someone may be able to help you out |

Speed passion reventon pro, is the general club racers 2wd speedo of choice.
Works a treat and has top lvl tunning options. Its also cheap in comparison. A good starting motor in 2wd would be a 10.5 or 8.5, Especially for the confines of indoor racing |

In 2wd you can expect 15mins+ 4wd 8mins+ with brushless and lipo's depending on motor and mah of batteries used!
