Hi all,
I know it's not exactly good form making my first post here a for sale item but I no longer have any interest in RC cars. I was into this hobby in a big way (1/10 touring, 1/8th rallycross and truck racing) a number of years back but got out to fly helis instead. I got a Hyper Star to see if I could rekindle my interest but it failed to re-light the fire. It's therefore for sale.
It's had very little use, less than 20 minutes I'd estimate and most of that was on tarmac. The Monster Max makes ridiculous amounts of power and the star could hit nearly 90mph on 6s (near destroying a set of road tyres in one session)

Initially I'd be looking to sell the lot together but may part it out later.
I'm going to keep this to cash on collection initially for the security of both parties but again, may consider posting later on.

Though I'm new here, I'm friends with a number of the members on here and will provide some (hopefully) familiar names a prospective buyer might PM as a character reference.
I'm good friends with tangerinedream(Paul) and Lazysurfer(Mark) who I trust will reference for me without taking the P155!

Total cost for this lot when I got it was a nats chuff off £800, I'm looking for £450 collected from Whitley Bay area (NE25)

I let Paul (tangerinedream) have a little go of it and despite (supposedly) being a competent racer when he changed the boots from tarmac to offroad he must not have had enough weetabix that morning and one of the nuts came loose and I lost it, it therefore has 1 blue wheelnut. I'm also not including the castlelink in the sale as I use it for my helis. I'm sure I still have the box and manual for it too.
