Default Christmas Race Heat 20th Dec?

So, who's preparing a festive entry for the last Friday before Christmas?

For the last week I've been saving cardboard, bottle tops, tin foil and all sorts of c&%p to make my 2013 creation!

Chris - can you get me some dry ice please?

Maybe we can have a festive heat so we're all in one "race" together.

I'll see what I can do, if not do you want some "wet ice"?

I am also working on a design for the 20th - "Shamta's Shleigh"

Er, no thanks, "wet ice" isn't going to work. I'll set it up ready in case you can bring some dry ice on the night.

Looking forward to seeing the sleigh! Complete with festive music...?

Would it be wrong to sit in the pits, spectating whilst eating cheese and biscuits and sipping champagne?

Surely that should be Port? Be careful you don't splash it on your nice blouse.

Yes you are quite right sir, however port tastes Shi*& so I do not let it past my lips! Plus you can not beat the look of an ice bucket on your table……...

I might just bring out my nice green stripy jacket for the evening……...

Christmas entry sorted! Spent yesterday evening feeling like I was on Blue Peter. Sticky-back plastic, wire coat hangers, washing-up bottles and yoghurt pots!

Quite pleased with my creation, although it is a touch heavy...

Might need to build a wide track on Friday to avoid too many 3-point turns in the hairpins... Could cause Santa road-rage otherwise.

Martin has a wide high-speed track design somewhere, might be worth getting him to print it out and bring it along.
