Default Decent Li-Po Balance charger

Have been doing the sums on my Li-po's and the figures just don't add up so I threw an accurate multimeter across the terminals of the battery to see what the final 'charged' voltage was ( set to 4.20v/cell ), guess what ? I have been overcharging my packs for ages and am not a happy bunny

The funny thing is I have an old (10 years) Duratrax Intellipeak Ice which is absolutely spot on voltage wise for Li-Po but will not balance charge.

So this puts me in the position of needing a new Li-Po balance charger sooner rather than later preferably one which gives accurate readings with final charge voltages that are correct or a charger that can be calibrated to compensate.

One of the guys at the club has got the new SKYRC RS16 charger. Schumacher are selling it so it cant be all bad

What is available that's good out there without taking out a small mortgage ?

I'm selling my spare LRP Touch charger as I have never had my main one fail in over two years of racing.

I can also supply a matching LRP 10A PSU.

Both will be supplied in thier original boxes.

Lrp quadra v1 is the new charger Elliot Boots is using as well as myself but you will need to buy separately the balance charging lead which did annoy me but the cost is around the £140 mark which is much cheaper than anyone else. With the lead (£7 for the lead) and is a tidy piece of kit and in my opinion looks after the cells unlike some other chargers ive had. You get a charger that can go up to 10amps, discharger, balancer and also various other things as well as a usb port for your phone or psp and an inbuilt power supply so plug in anywhere including a 12v battery. Also its not that big so another benefit.
