Default titanium b44.2 screw set

Im getting some screw kits around christmas. Made from grade 5 6al4v titanium.

The first batch will have 4 kits avaiable at a prototype part price. They have not yet been tested in cars.

If anyone would like a set to try, please contact me. The price will be around £30 posted, andwill replace all but 5 screws on the car. Not including diffs. With a handful left over as spares.

Weight saving will be approximately 30 grams.

Set includes

Button head
4-40 x 3/8" 20 pcs
4-40 x 1/2" 5 pcs
4-40 x 3/4" 5pcs

Cap head
4-40 x 3/8" 20 pcs
4-40 x 1/2" 15pcs

Flat head (countersunk)
4-40 x 5/16" 5pcs
4-40 x 3/8" 30pcs

Sure, it was very difficult to find a good price for imperial sizes. In metric it would be no problem.

Just work with me here Danny your running the avid chassis for the extra length and you say the added weight is spot on but your wanting lighter screws???????

Recently dropped the chassis weights im using, car felt a bit more agile snd quicker to change direction. Still heavy though at 1700g.

The balance is spot on, but id like to get down around 1650, withought dropping alloy parts.

This way i can lose it equally across the car. Using screws n hingpins should see a 40g+ weight loss

It can be done. Trouble is any metal parts either need retapping, or imperial screws have to be used screwing into metal.
