Default Scottish Borders Racing (TD Area code)

Hi Guys/Gals,

A brief note to establish if there is any activity in the Scottish Borders??

I potentially have access to an indoor hall in Jedburgh and would be prepared to set up the facilities to start a bit of a practice/race club.

I've not long been into the racing
but, I'm finding that I'm having to do a lot of travelling. I would ideally like to find a group of people interested to see if it may be a sustainable proposition?

If you, like me, would like somewhere local to practice, and are located in said region, please drop a note.

(2/4wd Buggy's)

Cheers
Jamie

To my knowledge, there is not many racers down your way. Racing in Scotland is pretty limited at the moment. There are clubs in Falkirk, Dunfermline, Sutherland, Ayr and East Kilbride.

Not much buggy racing over the winter months but if you check on here you will see that the Ayr club are running a 4 meeting winter series beginning in January. Numbers for that should be preety good.

A lot of racers up here (including myself) race GT12 over the winter months but as the outdoor season starts we have regionals and a few of us do Nationals too.

You should think about the winter series at Ayr. That should be fun.

I'd not be opposed to attending meetings at a club in the Borders.

Any details or links for the Ayr series yet?

Got enough gear up here now and nowhere to go!
