Default Need advice regarding color painting

I have seen Jimmy thread for his CRT and I need some more advice about color, brand etc.

I own a RC10L and a RC10LO, both need job painting.

I did the masking preparation for the GrC bodyshell close to the following pic.

I want to use color like black, red-orange, dark grey, little grey or black, red-orange, grey, white.

The TC bodyshell will use the same color, not same design, for the RC10LO.

Do you have any advice for color to use, type, brand and more to obtain a fairly good result.

My last paint job late for ... years, that's why!

Thanks!

Faskolor is very good, and if you use Faskrome to back a colour, you don't even need to go dark to light with your spraying.

What sort of advice are you looking for, are you airbrushing or rattle cans?

I will use cans, not airbrush available!

For the advice, it is about color combinaision and different in type of paint:

Color: Black/Red/Dark Grey/Light Grey is good one but what about Black/Orange/Grey/White?

There are some "rules" on combining colors but what are they?

Type of paints:
What is the different between fascolor, faskrome and others?
What is the different on the result?

For now, that's all! Maybe I will have more later.

In the end, colour combination is totally up to you. both the combinations will work well, although the orange will be brighter.

Faskolor comes in bottles and is only applicable through an airbrush.

tamiya paints are good but don't cover as well as pactra. so if i had the choice for rattle cans i'd use pactra, thay've got plenty of range of colours.

hope this helps.
