whats the weight of a b44

Hi all not sure if its asked before. I m looking for the balanced weight of the b44. In relation to front to rear and sidw to side.to be with the rules.

So...the weight limit in the UK for BRCA events where scrutineering is in place is 1588 grams for all 4WD cars.

If your racing at events without scrutineering...knock yourself out...it can be whatever weight you'd like!

In terms of weight and balance, and what people are/where using for optimum performance...it tended to follow the principal that the car was designed for NiMH cells, so was under weight for best performance with lipo's in it, so add some weight to rebalance it...on the assumption that it was too front biased out of the box.

Front to back, I'm not sure I've seen people looking too deeply in terms of figures like they do in 2wd, as 4wd's are slightly less sensitive (to most mere mortals at least).

But...my experience of running the B44, I used to run a brass lipo tray and brass battery straps to get the car to a weight that worked nicely for me. I'm not sure what that added up to in total, or what front to back balance it gave, but that was pretty much the typical advice given at the time the B44 was being raced at the top end of the game, so it passed the BRCA ruling on minimum weights.

When I moved on to the B44.1, I just used to run the AE ballast weight between the cells, think that was about 70g (ish?)

Left to right, obviously the target would be evenly weighted each side.
