Default Schumacher MI5 Lipo Brace & Pivots

Evening all

I have just recently started racing again after a 4 year break, so last week i built my new MI5, very impressed with the kit, until i came to securing the lipo. i never have liked tape so after a bit of thought i came up with the following brace.

ill let the pictures do the talking, all in all its cost me less than £5 to make, if it holds out im going to get a carbon fibre copy made.

and my custom pivot balance bitty bobs,

and all ready for my first race day

you may find that style will create uneven flex in the chassis, which is the main reason the tape is used.

this is a better design to me
