Default can anyone help with gear diff question?

OK so before anyone says no gear diff's out for the sv2 (I know)
What I'm looking for is does anyone know if anything in the works for a gear diff for the
Sv2?
We have gear diff's now for all the other models except the one that could really benefit from it.
I feel that this is the one peace of the puzzle really holding the sv2 back.

What difference are you expecting from a gear diff? Less maintenance possibly, although my ball diff will be doing it's 4th straight meeting tomorrow since the last rebuild and is still as smooth as ever.

The problem is the transmission housings - apparently there just isn't enough space between the housings to fit the extra width of the gear diff in.

So which ever way you look at it, there won't be a gear diff to fit straight in the SV2.

It can be done but is a lot of work and not for the faint hearted.

Schumacher has committed to a new mid motor 2wd before Christmas based on the design seen at the Worlds.

I'm quite sure they will include gear diff as an option on that. Just strangely, KR comes with a gear diff now as standard.
