Default Battery - Bin or keep

All

Made the school boy error with my saddle pack batteries and plugged the wires in the wrong way

Was not in car so purely battery and wires.

The battery showed a little smoke and one of the packs went very hot straight away. I have connected to charger and seems to charge fine.

Are these ready for the bin or can they be saved?

Default hmmm

prob ok, swelling if a lot after testing would be a sign of pack iffy. fully charge them and test for 5 mins, keeping a close eye on it. then charge again.

I have shortend a lipo pack similar for a second or so and did not effect it. still in use now and perfectly balanced etc.
