What tyres would you guys use on a b44.1 on wooden floor, spikes or pins ?

Its a funny one. Week to week im faster on different tyres. This week very worn spikes were better. Last week i was definately quicker on pins. Best to have both but if you had to pick. Spikes are the 'safer' option id say.

well scrubbed in full spikes seem to work quite well on polished wooden floors

Only place ive found full spikes quicker is at tyne met. They dont work too well at any other indoor venues i go to.

Batley, cullingworth and York.

Would it work if you used pins at the rear and spikes at the front or the other way round ?

Ye for sure. I tend not to though, im anal about wearing tyre sets evenly

Pins are ultimately faster but spikes a bit safer although it's not a huge difference.

I'm with Danny I wouldn't mix pins and spikes.
