Default RE RE-Egress

Second item on the RC Models to be shown by Tamiya at Tokyo Hobby Show is the Egress. Its Tentative but that means its actually on the horizon very soon!

I raced one back in the day before selling it. Time for a newby

You are not gonna believe this but i was just looking at avantes on ebay and thought to myself, i cannot believe that tamiya are releasing so much crap when cars like egress and vanquish go begging, then 10 minutes later i read this. I just hope it is the proper thing and not some faggy aero avante style thing or egress df-02

If the picture on Tamiya USA web site is anything to go by then the RE-RE Egress is a bit if a let down. The front shock geometry is all different to the original. It made all the difference in respect of handling and stance of the model. I'll be re-thinking my purchase if the front shock geometry is not as per the original!

When we raced the original Egress we used a steering plate bolted to the shock mounts which made the shock stand upright. We found the car was better over the grass tracks we raced on back then. There where a few running around at the time. The picture show the new Avante style uprights which I think shows there has been some thought on the old weak spots. I'll be racing mine for sure along side the New RC10 that's due soon
