Default DEX 410R Shorty LiPo or Saddle?

Hi Lads, If this has been on, then please point me towards, and delete the thread. If not, then I'm about to buy batteries, which one should I go for, Shorty pack, or Saddle? If you could tell me why as well, that would be nice.

Thanks,

Norbert.

I used shorty batteries in my v3 when i first got it until i could afford some saddles.
As the car needs all the weight you can towards the rear then saddles or extra weight to even it up is recommended.

They fit fine, there are a couple of threads about it.

Long story short.
Early ones didn't have the grunt to get the 410 going (it's a heavy car).
Current ones do have the grunt, but you need a good bit of weight to balance the car up.

I've got saddles and shorties to choose from, I always use saddles. (Shorties live in the 210)
