Question NIMH charge, discharge, storage etc

Hi guys,

Loads of questions!

I've been reading loads on this and I think I'm getting the hang of it.....ish!

I've only just started using NIMH cells and I see there is a bit of contrasting information on the interweb!

So, I race every Friday night and last Friday I finished the night with a pack that was used in my final, and I have put it back in the box, and I have another fully charged pack that I put back in the box.

I have a UAC50 charger that I can discharge then charge or visa versa I think. How should I set this particular charger to do that? I don't have an equaliser, should I? And it looks like the equalisers work with side by side cells, not end to end?

Also I have read that the cells should cool right down before charging but due to the short time between heats at my club, and only running 2 packs, that doesn't seem possible - even after I marshalled the next race the cells were still pretty warm.

All advise welcome!

Thank you!
