I've just ordered a Durango DEX210 for 2WD, this is a completely new arena for me so it would be good to hear from anyone running this kit at TORCH.
Lots of different motor configurations available on this car so i'd be interested to hear how people run it in the dry and wet, also shock oil weights, geometry etc. Thanks, will be at the track tomorrow in any case ![]()

I thought i'd seen Cameron driving one at the last Wednesday evening. Does anyone know whether Durango wheels are affected by acetone?

I couldn't resist the bargain price of £94.99 and bought one of these as well.
What diff is preferred in these cars Ball Diff or Gear. For Torch is the Motor better mid or rear and what idle gear setup 3 or 4. Probably like Alex lots more questions when I start building it. Thanks in advance Bernard

i used to run the 4 gear diff, geared in the dry and ball with ceramics not kit balls in the damp/wet. This was with mid motor setup.
Hope this helps.

Chris, I was going to start with the mid motor 4 gear setup as the TORCH astro is grippy, but not ultra "velcro" grippy like astro carpet. Also looking at the build manual I realised the steering linkage has no servo saver, does this mean a hard impact could trash the servo gears? I'll be running a Savox SC1258.

When I had my 210 had a few crashes running a 1258 and never had an issue with the servo as they are metal geared but would run the kit plastic horn as this would go first.
