Default B44 Front Driveshaft Popping Out

Hi folks

I lost a front one way outdrive today after the driveshaft popped out. I set the kit up as per the instructions but the travel of the front shocks causes the driveshaft to be very close to coming out upon full suspension travel.

Have you guys fitted limiters within the shock bodies ? If so whats the part number please ?

Thx muchly

Richard

part number: AS6466. Have you got the shocks on the inner or the outer hole on the arms?

Then i think you need an additional downstop for the inner hole. Personally, i run it on the outer hole so no additional downstop.

Is the kit setup not the outer hole also?

EDIT

Just checked.. kit setup is outer hole on front wishbone and inner hole on rear wishbone

If you don’t have any limiters inside the shocks then you didn’t read the manual properly... there should be a .30 spacer (4187) in the front and rear shocks

Just took my shocks apart for the first time since writing this thread and all four shocks have the .30 spacer in them already.
Im going to fit an extra 1 mm downstop in each front shock. Does this sound right to you guys ?

Thx

I have never had this issue with a diff but wonder if the outputs on the NTC3 where the one-way comes from are a little shorter.

If it helps, Lee Martin and Paul Bradby always use a front diff.
