Default Novice ZX5 question

As the title says really, i am returning to the hobby after a break of over twenty years and have just purchased a ZX-5 fs on e-bay for a very reasonable price, is there anything i should look out for regarding weak points, as for spares do fs2 parts just bolt straight on? Any little tips much appreciated chaps, cheers, Chris.

Search for posts on hear by ncj11 (Nick Caro) and myself and you should have all the build information you'd ever need a good grasp on what fits what and how to get the best from it.

You'll love the Kyosho cars

Two more questions guys, again both a little on the novice side, my local track has just layed astroturf so that it is now 95% the surface, I am thinking of getting some preglued Schumacher minispikes but am unsure if they fit on the kit hexes, secondly where do you all stand on cab forward bodies, I got my FS second hand and to be honest the paint job is horrid, I do like the cab forward bodies by proline and penguin but I am sure I read somewhere that they upset the balance, is it just a case of try it and see or could any of you give me a solid yes or no, cheers, Chris.

Hi Chris,
Sorry but Schumacer only make the pre-glued on schumacer Pin rims! SO you will have to get busy with the glue.
The Cab forward body gives lot more front end grip and on Astro unless its slippery you wont really need it! The standard FS2 shell will fit and has good downforce! Most of the team drivers swap between bodies depending on grip! to be safe the FS2 shell is easiest to drive!
