your charger does not discharge or do storage mode, as in the manual

I bought one of these chargers as it said in the spec on the ansmann website that it discharged. As I couldn't find anything in the instructions I contacted ansmann uk who had to actually get one on the bench and test it to discovered that it didn't discharge. They agreed to change their literature for the charger and I returned it and instead got a core rc uac50 which has been great.

Hope that helps

it did have feeling it couldn't, do you really need one to do this? as can you just run the car till cut off comes in? then it be ok again till you recharge it up?

Don't need to run it that long, just a 15 minute blast will pretty much take it down to where you should be after a storage charge. (About 6-6.5V IIRC)

Of course, this is dependent on what voltage you have your cutout set to!

also I notice with this charger when you selecting the type of lipo it display the voltage that it will change at being 8.4v for 2s but when I seen youtube videos with different changers they show at this point when just selecting type that it be at 7.4v so not sure if mine is doing it ok?

7.4 is the nominal voltage. 8.4 is the peak.
As long as the charger says 2s lipo you should be okay.
