Question Lateral/Transverse Battery in DEX210

Hi All,

I seem to remember a reference to someone having done a modification to their 210 which meant they were able run a shorty lipo in a transverse position across the rear of the chassis in mid motor layout.

Does anyone here now of this or know the link to how to do this???

Thanks

I wouldn't do it with a stick pack, but here's a topic with some reference to make it saddle pack compatible:

Thanks for the links, much appreciated

I was planning to do it with a shorty, is this not wise? Has it not worked for others?

My idea wouldn't push the battery quite as far back as the saddle pack ones in the links, but with it being transverse, this would allow me, with a +11mm chassis, room to place the speedo and receiver inline centre of the chassis in the space between the battery and the servo.
