have a similar thing on my garage door. the previous owners fitted it as there was a series of garage raids in our road several years back.
Never had a problem since

I think it would actually be more effective to supply the garage door handle with 240V but i dont think the little one would remember when she goes to get her bike out
![]() At least that way you get to give them a good kicking when you find them laid on your drive when you return home from work ![]() |

I did but it turns out the newer garage door locks have spring loaded things in the lock so with a worn key and a wiggle and a tap they can get in which is what the police said happened to mine.

It says you have to get the built in base unit if you have a tarmac drive, so basically i have to sink an anchor into the ground.

Or a proper security system could be a good idea. Might be more expensive but will be audible to your neighbours and you insurance will go down.

If you get an IP camera you could have it on an ethernet home plug system directly into your garage or wherever, then setupt he software to record on movement.
