Ok
So the fan has yet again broke and I'm finishing it very difficult to solder the wires back on (as the fan keeps popping out of the casing) Is there a cheaper alternative fan available? Would a hobbywing one be the same? Or a computer graphics card fan too? Thanks

There are heaps of fans available that will fit.
SP have a 25x25 fan, just get one with the same connector (saves soldering ) Have a look on ebay or your LHS for them |

Thanks for that
Does the voltage of the fan matter?

Yes it does. I don't know for sure but I think all esc fans originally are 5V fans. A 12V fan turns far too slowly when powered from most ESCs or directly from the 2S lipo. Trust me on the last point, I've tried it.

Ok thanks
So would it be better to get a 5v fan and not a 12v fan The only reason I ask is because somewhere on the instructions for the esc, I'm sure it says 12v, and if that's the case the the sp fan is 12v its quite fast
