I have a question for all you Tamiya boys. I have got a few sets of pre assembled battery packs for mucking about with the buggy and they are fitted with tamiya type connectors. I have a Novak charger for charging batteries that I assemle myself but I dont have a Tamiya charger.
Looking around I see that most Ansmann chargers only work up to 3500mAh but the packs I have are 3600mAh. Will the 3500 charger work with these and if not what chargers do you guys use for high power battery packs? Sorry if this is a dumb question with an obvious answer but I am electric newcomer! ![]() |

if you have croc clips on your novak just use that direct onto the tamiya plug !
If you havent got croc clips then make up a fly lead to go between your novak and the battery. Connectors are cheap enough from most if not all model shops. HTH

yeah, your novak is going to be a heck of a lot kinder to your new Tamiya cells than practically any charger that you can buy pre-wired with a Tamiya connector.
You can buy the Tamiya style connectors from most model shops but I use the small croc clips on my charger and just push them inside the Tamiya connector on the packs like Shiney says |
