Default B5 or B4X ?

I have heard mysterious rumours about new parts or even a new car recently from a couple of sources. To either update the existing B4 or even replace it with a B5.

I find it hard to beleive there would be a new car for a few years yet since the existing car is still very much at the top. But new parts I can beleive.

Anyone heard anything like this ? What COULD they improve or what would people like to see ?

Ahaha that will make my B3 even more Retro, i'm sure it'll be subtle changes (think back to RC10 to the Worlds car, then B2 to the B3 or even Losi XX to the XXCR, XXX to the XXX CR) all small geometry changes etc, that's what I'd guess anyway? These teams usually get a good 6 years + out of a chassis....

may be they could address the weight balance,
meaning having to put weight in the back end to make it stay on the floor,
and update the shock seals

the shock seals are indeed - crap. Just from a maintenance and lifetime point of view.
I heard possibly some new rear arms were in the pipeline that would address the weight issue and basically do what people have been doing with a dremel - move the rear arms forward slightly.

Thats the 'nublets' cut off the block that holds the hinge pins, right?

I've heard rummors about new chasis, new materials, new weight distribution and new transmision. Launching is not decided yet, possible dates are Xtams or World's

the car will not be released till after the worlds, that is how they always work, and then it might never come out, they had a habbit of that in the early 90's.

Whats this rumour about a mid motor B4 running round in the US? Any links to any info about it?

AE always continue manufacturing of older parts. Look at the TC3/ tc4 They might aswell, practically all the parts are the same or interchangeable
