Default Cleaning tyres

Had a wee look through the search function and couldn't find an answer to this.

How do you clean your tyres after a meeting?

I found this video on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzgjd511Aa8

Now as far as i'm aware, that product isn't available in the UK, not that i could find. Does anyone use anything similar?

Edit: I've since found simple green in the UK, however, any alternatives?

I was thinking it can't be great to just leave them dirty, can't be great for the rubber over time? Ideally we want to keep them in the best condition possible?

Any info from you guys is appreciated.

I may add, i have a full set of wets and drys from the last meeting to clean which was only my 2nd outdoor meeting so it's quite new to me.

I also don't want to break "23.9 No additives other than water will be allowed on any tyre."

Water, brush.

Some people actually use simple Green as a traction additive, not just as a cleaner.
I sometimes leave them on the car and blow the rubbish off with the compressor when I get home. Anything other than that seems a little excessive as the tyres don't last that long anyway. Couple of hours running. Also, the instant you start moving on a clean set of tyres, they'll be dirty again.

A better idea might be to knock the worst of the dirt off and leave them in a zip lock bag, keeps them soft, stops the oils/softeners in the tube evaporating so fast.
