Hey chaps,
Was running my B4.1 last week at my first 10th race all was going well until the final were I had only one wheel driving on the back on further inspection the wheel was getting jammed with grass this only happened when the track became wet, there is only about 2mm between the hub and wheel hardly any clearance at all. Just wondering how I can prevent this from happening again........ Thanks Callum |

Part no AS 9730 http://www.teamassociated.com/parts/details/9730/ Alternatively, there are AE's carbon camber link towers (standard in B4.2 kit) to bolt on instead of the bulky plastic ones. But I have no idea if that solves the problem as effectively as plastic carriers?? |

Now im not a very good driver and have had the same build up of grass but no lock up........
The thing i think might help if your new to raceing on grass as i am is, keep on the line because as the day progreses the grass get thrown to the outside line of the track then it rains you run wide and ha ho lock up... might be wrong but worth thinking about I have plastic ae hub carriers |

Get some old lexan with that has about a 45 degree bend in it (usually off an old wing) and double side tape it to each side of your shell in front of the rear wheels.
This stops the grass getting into the rear wheels and suspension. Bit difficult to explain but most people I know use this when running on grass with loose cuttings. |
