Haven't tried it, but don't you think you'll be stretching the limits of what a shorty can handle by putting it in a 4WD?

There's a thread on here somewhere. Maybe 2 years back?

Anyone at MERCC yesterday will tell you my car was easily the fastest 4wd down the straights.

And I use a shorty.

You know my findings Michael.

I guess lipo tecnology has come a long way in two years. I`m using an IP 4600mah in my Tamiya DF03 and I just need to paint the body on my DMX410 so I can try the shorty in that car also.

Mine is a DMX410 to be fair. Love it!
I normally have about 1000mah left after a 6 minute run on a open, fast track.

Fastest car due to the 2.5 motor you use David.
