Question Scrubbing in new minipins

I have a new set of schumacher minipins for racing at maritime on sunday. the problem is I am not gonna be able to get down to the track on saturday, so there'll be no chance to run the tyres in.

Can I just use them for a couple of minutes outdoors on tarmac to scrub them in or alternatively in my garden - which is grass.

I don't think the tracks open on saturday anyway. But, doors open at 7 am which will give you nearly two hours practice time so you could scrub them in then.

Wash them in the sink with some very hot water and fairy liquid and a stiff toothbrush. Thoroughly dry and use. It'll remove some of the releasing agent/grease from the rubber, and make your hands soft.
