Hi
wander if anyone can help me, my dad bought himself an rc car about 15 years ago and im trying to find more information about it, now i dont have any pictures of it and he no longer owns it but we know it was made by cambrian models and it was a front wheel drive car with a red plastic chassis. Thats all we know about it! Oh and apperently it was supposed to be one of the first front wheel drive off road buggies, but thats what i heard but i dont know! can anyone shed some light on this rc car for us please Thanks jake

Cambria made several fwd 1/12th cars in the late seventies. They certainly weren't a buggy they pre-dated buggies by several years. None of them had a red plastic chassis though, the first ones had a flat aluminium chassis and the later Trackstar had a fibreglass sheet chassis.
Original Cambria Countach Cambria Saab Cambria Trackstar The first fwd buggies were the Nichimo Vantage and Spirit FF, from the early eighties, but again they don't have red chassis.

Oh right ok, thank you for the help! just had a chat with him and i got it wrong! My bad! Red plastic chassis was a different model he had! A monster beetle!
He says it was a alloy chassis , with suspension front but not back. And possably a splitter on the front. Thats all i can find out off him after my interrogations ![]()
