Default Novak GT7 Brushed Esc

Novak GT7 ESC.

Recently been rewired, and in perfect working order. I have no real reason to keep it, as my Mtroniks IP6 is working perfectly and dont need a spare any more.

I am after £45 plus P&P

Well I always have a back up just in case, and the reliability of Mtroniks is not as good as Novak, which never seem to fail. But I am having a clear out and the Novak has got to go.

mtroniks are top notch on their customer support though... if it fails they'll sort it out.... havent got a bad word to say about them... and i myself have never had an mtroniks product fail...

the IP6 is a great speedo, id rather have one than a GT7 anyday!

The Mtroniks has melted and gone to esc heaven, and it seems nothing much has changed with this manufacturer. Trusty Novak is back in the car and working fine.

Not for sale anymore

That is true, that they do have great Customer Service, but, in my experience with the products is that you can have one, it is as reliable as a faithful dog, you fit another one and it can be a mad axe murderer and another a stalker, just waiting to pounce, so really, to keep customers sweet, they have to be good!

would be interested to hear their diagnostic (they have a machine to do this accurately) as the only time ive ever seen this esc fail is by user error.

the ip6 is top notch in all fairness.

I liked it, but the thing totally melted, and the first esc they ever made did exactly the same, its just a blob of black plastic now. Pity, and even the guys at track said my soldering was fine. What I dont understand is I have not done anything different. I have corrally connectors on the motor so no soldering is required on the motor. I dont want to send it to Mtroniks as they charge for it so for the same cost I can at least get a better second hand product. Still the Novak I have at least is more reliable.

I had the exact same problem with my IP6 at the indoor finals. Soldered it up exactly right. Plugged in the RIGHT way. Then half a lap later it went BANG. So i sent it off to m-troniks then they told me that it had been plugged in the wrong way. Well clearly it wouldnt of worked if i had plugged it in the wrong way. Then the best bit was they said i could have a new one for £50. hahaha What a bunch of LOSERS!!!!!!!
