Default Topcat/cougar tub chassis

I'm just doing a quick rebuild on my old cougar front ended Topcat for the Invernational vintage race, and was wondering how flat or bent the aluminium tub chassis was out of the box?

The car is in reasonable condition for a used car, with some road rash on the bottom of the chassis. Placing the stripped down chassis upside down on a flat surface, so it touches on the front and rear leaves the wide central section about 5mm off the flat surface at most. it looks like the bending at the rear is correct, but is is at the front? if you place the chassis bottom down on the flat, the wide central section site perfectly flat. From the point where the sides angle in to the front, it raises up about 5mm maximum at the front, before the castor kickup where you bolt on the plastic front. It doesn't look to be tweeked. Does it sound a bit bent? should i attempt to bend it back, or just run it as it is?
