Default Axial Exo

I am thinking of buying an Axiel Exo. Not sure whether to buy the kit and put in my own electrics or to buy the RTR version.

Has anyone got the RTR? How does it perform?

What alternative ESC and Motor would work well?

John

kit is better , make sure the diffs are shimmed correctly, i dont run with the cockpit for better airflow .put o rings in the rear axels and diff outdrives so the driveshafts dont fall out . i run a 6.5 with a orion r10 with 25c lipos and is plenty fast enuff .hope that helps

Now THIS is advice I can use!
Hats off to you sir!

All too often when advice is sought like this, we get the 'go and look for it yourself' rubbish, mostly from the yanks though! Exactly what I got when I asked whats best tweaks/mods for my new SC10 4x4 out of the box.....bummer!

Oh and I opted for the Kit EXO too btw!

Mines running a Novak ballistic 4.5t 550 motor on a gtb speedo with 5000mah 30c batteries,on stock gearing and a 12t pinion it's fast enough to keep up with most cars out there
