Am after a 1cell speed controller to put in a superstox, will be running 10.5 motor and have to run blinky mode, do different ESC have more or less features on them?
Any advice or recommendations appreciated.

Depends how much you want to spend. The Hobbywing (HW) v3.1 1S is a high-end speedo that is bullet proof for GT12. The previous version (HW 120A v2.1 1S) is still around the used forums for about £60 for a good one.

If you want the security of a new one and a warranty then the new GForce 1s 120amp is a new one with HW guts and a different case. It's big advantage for GT12 is that the switch and capacitors are built in (like the HW V3.1) so the only space you need in the car is the footprint of the speedo.

Contact Zen for delivery (www.zen-racing.co.uk) as they show out of stock at the moment. I think this is going to be a very popular speedo as it is the guts of one of the best on the market at a price that really suits the GT12 and 12th classes. HTH

Interesting I looked at the picture of the inside of the geforce 2s 120amp and looked at the pictures used on skyrc toro 120 amp same picture lol. Now I guess there is only one speedo across all of the company's lol

Many thanks for your reply and information, the Gforce sounds a good deal for the money, do you know if it has all the settings on like a hobby wing, i have used an old hw years ago and have the program box still, if i remember there were lots of settings to play about with when using the program box, is the GForce the same? would my hobbywing box be able to program the GForce?

regards Holt9

Sorry, I don't know the answers to those questions. I suggest you contact them through their contact page on their site - http://www.zen-racing.co.uk/catalog/...59eea73670db83

...unless of course someone knows the answer!

You need the gforce program box, the hobbywing one wont work with it.

I dont know exactly what settings you can adjust but I suspect they will be similar.

My gforce arrives next week hopefully.
