Please tell me that there is anyone still alive after going racing to Coventry and Telford on one of the most bitterly cold days I can remember?

It must have been freaking freezing!!!

My son decided at 8:15 he wanted to go so I had the pleasure of marshalling and wrenching his car with no gloves (don't ask!) and didnt even get to race myself. One hot bath and a curry later I just about feel warm now - it was bitter today.....

I found the conditions impossible to race and my 53 year old thumbs would loose all feeling within about 30 seconds of racing, will have to get a transmitter muff. I'm still defrosting and it'll probably be a few days before all my senses hit normality, even though my head probably never will

Paul I think your lad was enjoying the day

Never know Coventry to be warm so hats off to anyone who went yesterday - think if you can race in that then you should all be fine in the oncoming season
