I once did an indicated 60 on a mountain bike, unfortunately within the same second I also did 0 and still have the internal metal work as a throphy!

Fair play to him for trying for double that!

Ouch

Best I've done is an assisted 42 mph on a road bike. Makes you think what if, when all you have is a cycle helmet for protection.

Wonder if Guy will be clad in leather for that speed?

I'd be dead if I'd a been wearing a helmet when I had my big off !!! Back a me Head hit me ass crack as forehead impacted ground after 40+ mph highside looked like a klingon for a few months though

Crushed nuts when chain snapped while peddling off the seat uphill. helmet didn't save me.

There's a lot to be said for ladies bikes with no crossbar. Mind you riding the motor bike nowadays due to old age on my lads SP1 I gave a new meaning to "Tank Slapper when I had to do an emergency stop.
His brakes are so much more powerful than mine.
