Default if my durga is underweight.....

do ya reckon it'd be ok to use this as my transponder?



I'm sure I could make a mount out of some gaffer and polycarbonate

yeah, it is pretty chunky, but not massively heavy. comes with it's own charging station too!

I'll have to get more pics up of my kart next time I take it out. the steering wheel is particularly interesting. it's got one of these fitted:


.. which is uber cool. it has a sensor on the floorplate which actually reads the magnetic split loops on tracks and gives you splits & full lap times, plus engine temp (using a sensor that sits on the head), RPM & total run time for the engine.

not as cool as the 'mychron 4' though - which has in-built GPS datalogging, so you can view your laps in real-time after a run. bonkers
