Default Friday 9 August **No Racing**

Hi guys, sorry but we are unable to use the hall this week so no racing.

We will not have use of the hall for the next two weeks either so are looking into other arrangements, things will be back to normal for the last week of August. If there are any developments I will update this forum.

That's a shame. I have a son desperate to race during his summer holidays!

Is there any chance of persuading Silverstone to host a Friday session for a couple of weeks instead? I guess it would come down to numbers willing to travel over there.

Shame the outdoor track isn't up and running especially with the weather having been OK of late.

Yes it's a shame, it really doesn't help the club build up a membership but things will be back to normal at the end of the month.

Regarding Silverstone I know Matt is aware of what we are doing for the next few weeks, that decision is up to him but I feel he already spends enough time running meetings as it is.

Big shame, I wanted to Christen my new body shell tonight!

Any more thoughts on switching to an alternative night, e.g. Thursday? Hopefully with summer coming to end when we return more people will be returning to racing indoors!

As you asked we have decided to leave the racing on Fridays, as it seems to suit the majority of people. Things should be back to normal for Friday 30th August.

Sounds good. Thanks for the info James.

PS - managed to get that X20 back in action with some high Temp solder. It remains to be seen whether it will survive a nights racing though!
