Instead of risking second hand packs, check out the Gens Ace sets available for Giantshark.co.uk for 20 quid ish brand new. Brilliant batteries and work absolutely flawlessly...
No, before anyone gets uppity, I'm not accusing anyone selling second hand packs of doing so dishonestly...
