Default Hyper ST Pro

I have now bought one of these and will be building it tomorrow ready for the weekend.

Just wondered if anyone had any general build tips, and possible some set up ideas for a large bumpy astro track.

Mainly:
diff oils
shock oils
springs (would the spring set from the Hyper 7 fit)

Also, as we have not run Truggies before, could someone comment on the kit tyres

Cheers

hi rick,
diff oil's, start with 7front 10 center 3rear.
kit tyres are good all rounders, no need to buy others yet.
shocks - drill 2 of the holes out( opposite ones) to 1.4mm and use hong nor blue springs all round. i run 40wt oil front and 30/35 rear.

ditch the standard brakes from new and build it with craddocks on,and bend the rear brake eyelet arm approx 30deg to give you more leverage.

if you want to run other wheels and tyres, i use any zero offset wheels with 8mm extenders. runs really well without losing too much steering.
