Default Lipo connector soldering - heat

When soldering new connectors onto the end of positive/negative wires coming off a lipo, do I need to worry how hot the wires are getting, in terms creating problems in the cells?

I'm not treat at soldering and usually end ip putting a lot of heat into the wires, just wandered how wary of this I need to be?

I wouldn't worry, as long as you get the wires attached securely. I have never damaged a battery pack because it overheated from soldering. I can see if you heat it up for more than 5 minutes at a time, damage could be done, but you should be good.
